In the process of this project I have learned how to use this camera. I have learned how to use this effectively to film our opening. This includes using the lightning correctly, adjusting it on a tripod so it is stable. I can do all the types of shots and produce a clear, steady picture. I shot all the frames which I weren't in.

I have also learned how to use final cut pro and garageband. I can use final cut to successfully edit a film together. also I have learned how to use blogger during this year of media.

The setting of it being in canary wharf allows for my target audience to relate to the thriller because we used familiar sights to them, whilst also making it look futuristic.

The shot of the banks show that there is big money involved which attracts the audience of adult males who are stereotypically interested in money (stereotype of adults being greedy).

The music we use sets the futuristic tone of the city. This is similar to films like inception.

The character is similar to that of Q from James Bond - Skyfall. he has a very quirky and intelligent look about him.

Our use of a gun as a prop is a typical aspect of thrillers that appeal to men.

Our unique selling point is the mystery behind the opening; the question of who the hacker was and what he took and why he was killed. The film will be full of wits and weapons.

What is a distribution company?

A distribution company makes a product or service available for use of the public. It is one of the 4 elements of marketing


What is a production company?

A production company is the organisation responsible for the development of the official product. This can be in performing arts, media, film, television and radio. It essentially creates the film, assisting in the budget, scripting, casting and more.they are responsible for finding a director and responsible if anything goes wrong or if anyone is injured.


This is our production logo, it gives us a dynamic edge and it looks professional.

The idea of a film director and who that might be and why?

Film distribution Association works with many individuals, companies and organisations. They would be the most reliable and efficient distribution company to work with.

I have compared the computer hacker to that of Q from the James Bond film 'Skyfall'. They are both computer hackers and have a quirky look about them. in terms of costume they are both wearing  blazer, white shirt, work tie and a pair of strange glasses which give them that quirky look.

The title of the film is overlapping the very prestigious one canada square. We chose to use this frame for the title because it is typical of a thriller to be set in a city/business environment. This particular font was used because it is basic and business like

This frame sets the environment in which most of the trailer is set in.

This frame shows the props used such as the gun. Also in this shot we can see the costumes in effect. The assassin wears business attire with a gun and gloves to show that its someone from the city. The hacker wears his glasses to show he is busy working 

The diegetic sound of typing is used in this frame. we used foley to further highlight the typing sound and make it louder to show that I am typing while hacking to further simulate me as a hacker.

This shot shows the continuity editing. In the shot before I am shown opening the door.

This suggests the story is a business based conflict, the use of one canada square shows that it's big money that's being played around with.

The composition of this shows the hacker in isolation which shows he is alone and in danger.

We used the blue lighting to neutralise all the other colours in the shot and create a sharper effect.
